There have been many movies and series involving everyone’s favorite cat and mouse duo, but how do they rank according to IMDb?
The iconic cat and mouse duo Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse have gone through many series and movies since they were introduced to the world in the 1940s series Tom and Jerry created by William Hanna and Joeseph Barbera. The characters are continuing to be used in media today; most recently found in the movie Tom and Jerry: Cowboy Up! which was released in early 2022 and the upcoming series Tom and Jerry Time.

With so many spin-offs of the original Tom and Jerry, there are bound to be many good and bad series and movies in the franchise. Fans rated all the series and movies that include the duo on IMDb and these are the top 10.
The 2021 movie Tom & Jerry: The Movie also received mixed reviews on IMDb. The movie brings the cartoon duo to a live-action world, which didn’t sit well with some fans.
Many fans would have preferred Tom and Jerry to stay in the animated world, but they appreciate the incorporation of the usual Tom and Jerry antics and the use of archived recordings of William Hanna’s iconic screeches, gasps, and screams. Many would agree that they would prefer that the cat and mouse duo stay in the format of the animated short series that did so well in the 1940s.

This series holds a lot of nostalgia for many people and is a classic cartoon that people go back to and enjoy just as much as they did when they first watched it. The popularity of the original series led the characters to be renewed to the present day and it allowed for many spin-off series and movies.
